Delta Airlines is running a photo contest through 10/31 for a trip to Hawaii. A gentleman named Jim Hillmann is trying to win this contest for a young girl named Zoie and her sisters. . The Uncle and oldest sister now care for and support the younger girls but they struggle to make ends meet. Just after their Mom died Zoie came to cheer walkers at the 2011 SGK 3-Day in Boston. That is where I encountered Zoie for the first time and where Jim took this picture. If you want to learn more about Zoie's story you can read it here: http://walkingforacure.info/4.html .

I just voted! I will vote again tomorrow. -
Thank you! These girls are really sweethearts. I have had the opportunity to spend time with the younger two during the last two Boston SGK 3-Days and they are great kids. They have almost nothing and ask for nothing. I think Jim is really their guardian angel. He has done so much for this family! Please tell all your friends to vote as well! -
I would like to vote, but none of those links worked for me. I don't belong to FB, so can you direct me to a link where I can vote? Thanks -
Sadly, I think you have to have a facebook account to vote because the contest is through Delta's FB page. I appreciate you wanting to help out though ..... perhaps instead you could pass the info on to any friends or relatives that might be on facebook and ask them to vote.

Thanks Chevy!
I posted this link on 3-4 other threads and my FB as well. So far I think her pic has the most votes by far! -
Unfortunately, there is a pug in beads and a pink wig that seems to add 300 votes every time we get within 150-250 votes of them so they are still in the lead. The back story on the pug is something like ....My dog did a 5K walk for Breast Cancer and got all dressed up for the event. I do not understand how that photo is first! They must have a huge bank of people voting for that pic every night. The big thing I have found is that people will only vote once and not come back every 24 hours and vote again. If they did Zoie's pic would be in the lead by far! Thank you for spreading the word! Ask all your friends to tell their friends like you did! Thank you for joining the effort. This is a link to a page you can "join" to join the team effort toward getting Zoie's pic to first place. https://www.facebook.com/events/695332380477252/701655616511595/?comment_id=701664343177389¬if_t=event_mall_reply
