Hi there, HBOT has been proven to help limit the damage caused by radiotherapy to throat and bowel cancer patients. Has anyone with BC used it? Was it effective?

I'm about to undergo a 25 dose course of HBOT in the hope that it'll help speed up my recovery so I can undergo the second stage implant straight after my RX. I'll let you know how I go!

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Good luck with it. I have not done recon, so this was not on my radar. I did get burns from the rads, and had about a week or two of discomfort from large blisters, but then it healed. Because I have not pursued recon, I don't what the state of my skin is from the POV of a PS. It looks OK though.
