Hi, Mods.

While it's wonderful to have so many areas specific to our populations/topics, I think it would be great to have a place for general topics that could cross all groups (comments about October come to mind), or useful topics that could fit in any one of a half-dozen areas but might not get broad participation because they're tucked away in a corner.

Just for consideration ...

MmeJ, thanks for your suggestion. We're always looking at ways to make forums more relevant for members, and will certainly consider your idea.

I find it would be very helpful to know everyone's AGE as well as if they are post or pre menopausal .

Also the size of everyone's tumors is so deceiving when you start out as a newbie on these threads .....all you see is 1cm or 2cm. Someone with 1.8cm is listed as being 1cm .....so as a newbie I was in shock that all the women with 1cm tumors were having chemo or doubleMX.....I had 1.5 cm IDC ( found within my 2.6cm DCIS) and was so consumed with all these women with 1cm tumors getting chemo and mastectomies that it was even influencing me to think about doing the same .....until I realized that 1cm meant 1cm -1.9 cm and that 2cm was 2cm- 2.9 cm and that the DCIS component was not included in size.

I would like to be able to find new topics easier. Perhaps there is a way and I'm just not smart enough to work it out for myself. If so, please educate me. When I go to "Active Topics" I have to scan 9 pages, looking for the dates they were created to find any new topics since the last time I looked. Could topics be listed by creation date? I'm not sure in what order they are listed now.

Actually I was thinking the same thing.

My idea was Breast Cancer in Film, TV, and Literature....

I have been watching "Time of Death" on Showtime which really shows breast cancer mets in a stark way and wanting to hear what people felt about it......Or we can make fun of the latest BC movie on Lifetime...etc.

The only thread I really still participate in is Lymphedema and obviously that isn't the whole enchilada.

(I know I can hear Athena "roaring too many forums!")
