Longest time between surgery and chemo

i did a search and couldn't find an answer to this question.


I have had chemo postponed because of complications post BMX and MO says 3 months is the deadline for them to offer me chemo. The surgeon doesn't think i will be healed in time. Has anyone gone a long time between surgery and chemo for triple negative?

    Hi Wrenn...looks like you posted this a while back. I am new to this and not really sure how to make this work so you can see it. I was told that 90 days is the window for that. I am not familiar with the abbreviations so not sure what BMX or MO stands for. Not sure how I will know when you respond to me either...oh well. Maybe I just have to check it often. Good luck...

    hi spiritblessing. Thank you. I guess my oncologist really was pushing it to the limit. He told me no longer than 3 months but i wanted to get other opinions


    BMX is bilateral mastectomy and MO is medical oncologist. Thanks for your reply. If you want to follow a certain thread you can click on 'add to my favourites'
