Cookie, I think the key here is, why can't we just believe that and then act like we believe it? I love the comment, and I for one am planning to work on adopting the attitude. So much has to do with how WE deal with it, what WE project about ourselves. Hey, I'm not just sexy, I'm strong too. And intriguing. And mysterious. And multi-talented. And smart. And....

I have had several patients ask me if I was a burn patient or if I wear mine for tendonitis. I remember once when I was wearing my black sleeve, I told a patient after his insistence on what it was for, I told him I had an arm transplant. That I told the surgeon I didn't care what he brought back I just wanted to use my arm again. That shut my patient up really quick. Sometimes being sarcastic has it's moments. lol
