    I am youngish (37) and just diagnosed.  I used to live in toronto but now live an hour or so east of Toronto.

    Did u go for only chemo or radiation both. Did ur chemo went smoothly? What precautions u took during chemo?

    Hi lakes, I'm so sorry, I didn't read that u r just diagnosed. I'm sorry to hear that. I pray from God that nobody should be diagnosed from cancer. Anyways u will be fine , don't worry, it's tough but manageable. Just don't think too much about it. If anytime u want to chat u can PM me.

    Hi, I am not sure why there are no many woman from Toronto in this forum. I lived in Toronto for 8 years now live in Mississauga just west of Tor. I was dx in 2012. I had Chemo , then surgery then rad. I had a nipple sparing surgery, I decided that my body was just too valuable to me and I did not want to let go of my breast lol I watched a video that helped me make that decision, also watch many videos which convinced me that my nipples were not a big risk to reoccurrence, it has no been proven so I kept mine and I am happy I did. Now I have TE which were used to keep the size I had before. I am waiting for xtmas to have my final surgery which involves replacing the TE with permanent implants. I was afraid of the deep flap surgery due to the invasive process. I have to admit I have been going through hell and back and I had my family support from far due to distance they live in another country. I now feel it is important to find people who is going through the same issues in order to get some moral support cuz other people cant really understand what we are dealing with. Feel free to ask me any information or if you ladies feel like meeting and grabbing a coffee or tea or anything I am in!!
