long wait for results?

I posted a few days ago about having a skin biopsy done as my surgeon says "to rule out" IBC. Long story short, I had no symptoms before July when I had a biopsy done on what turned out to be a benign lymph node. They hit a blood vessel during the proceedure that created a lot of pain and bruising on the inner part of my breast. (A few inches away from biopsy point. ) in the following weeks after the bruising started to fade it turned yellow then red, became inflamed, and indented. After 8 days of bactrim and 10 days of cipro barely any change. The redness lightened to pink. My skin in that patch is thick and harder than normal. My surgeon said that the only next step he could think of was to biopsy it to be sure its not IBC and check for possible infection. It's been 6 days since my skin biopsy and im still waiting on results. I'm terrified that all this waiting is wasting precious time and that the dr has no idea what is going on. I am a nervous wreck. Right now I'm fighting the urge to rush off to MD Anderson instead of hanging around here waiting, and my family thinks I'm being extremely silly about this. Why would it be taking so long? Any thoughts would be helpful as I feel like I am worrying all alone.
