Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
I can be good all day, but just fall apart about 9 pm (I would put a crying face, but it seems like they have removed the emotions icons.....sad face). -
Ruth,
Thanks for the laugh. Just got home from a comedy movie that surprisingly got me crying the whole way home. Nice to have a break from it.
I continue to lose slowly but at least I'm losing some. Keep forgetting to post on Wednesday. Finally broke the 160 mark and am down to 158.
Peggy -
Congrats, Peggy, on breaking 160! What movie did you see?
-
Badger, I saw "Enough Said" and it was really a good movie. Thanks for the positive words about losing weight. So nice of you to say.

I weighed in at 122.7 this morning, up 0.3 from last week. This is the first increase I've posted and I'm sure it won't be the last, but as long as the decreases balance them out, I'm OK with that. I'm flying to Des Moines tomorrow to meet my new granddaughter and help my daughter as she recovers from childbirth. My weight and food choices won't be a primary focus for a couple weeks, but hoping not to get too far off track. -
down 1.3 but that is because I am nervous about dental surgery....which I am having in one hour.I'd say that a liquid diet would be good for weight loss except for the fact that milk shakes are liquid! -
Excuse me breaking in here, but we are looking to show your faces, names and quotes at our fundraising event in October (www.rockforbreastcancer.org), and would love your help. This event is one of our largest fundraisers of the year and we'll be joined by hundreds of generous donors.
Specifically, we will have two projector screens up during the event, and want to show the people attending the event YOUR faces--- the women of our community, the women who use and rely on BCO ! Having the opportunity to share your photos and quotes that night will reinforce to our donors, in a meaningful and personal way, just how vitally important their contributions are to our community.
For this, we are looking for people willing to share a photo of themselves (either alone or with family, friends, pets, other BCO members, etc.), allow us to use your first name, say where you are from (it can be from anywhere in the world!), and give us a quote on how important BCO is to you. We are looking to have at least 40 people and have (only) a few weeks to work on this.
If you are interested, could you please email Melissa at mjenkins@breastcancer.org, with your photo, first name, where you live, and your quote? Also, PM us if you have any questions!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us!!

So happy to report that I'm down 1.5 to 155.5. My short term goal is 155. My next goal is 150. Really beginning to see the difference, and some of my pants are very loose now. Will not lie - this feels GOOD!
Congrats on the new granddaughter. Annie! I'll be a first time grandma in March - so exciting. -
stayed the same this week. This surprises me as I haven't been very good at watching my choices this week. I find I'm just tired, and have been eating without much thought. I know-emotional eating. 172.8 -
AnnieLane, just want to congratulate you on your new grandchild! How wonderful, enjoy your visit! -
I think I forgot to post last week, but this week I am down 1 to 158.5 Feeling good about going in the right direction, which is encouraging me to make good choices. Only 5.5 lbs to go for the Christmas challenge! -
Well I didn't do as well this week, I was a little lazy a few days and enjoyed football too much so I am up 1.5 pounds. I need to get back to drinking my water... Annielane, congrats on the new grandchild. -
I am down .8 lbs this week.
Congrats Annie on your new grandbaby! -
Down - 184.6. Looking to break 180 by Christmas. -
Down 1 pound. Completely pleasantly surprised due to to a couple of celebrations last weekend. I guess the overall calorie counting is helping. Even on the days I'm way over at least I know. 1 more until 10 pounds gone, then I can concentrate on the next 10. -
Stayed the same at 128. Happy with that. -
Down .4 this week.
-
Wren
If I was 128 I'd be lithe LOL! Right now I'm 185! The least I every weighed as an adult and were talking age 18 was 140. Its just the way I'm built. I'd be delighted at 165 at my age (50) -
Weight stayed the same, but starting to lose inches! I'll take it. But come on, scale!!!! MOVE!!!!!! -
Dulcigirl
I know its such a crazy thing. You can feel thinner yet the scales don't show anything. I literally jump on the scale right after I empty my bladder in the morning LOL! By mid morning I'm 2 pounds up -
ha!! I always weigh first thing in the a.m. After bathroom, before eating/drinking. Still nothing!!! I've tried stepping on assertively AND sneaking up on it...but the dumb scale just won't budge! -
Can I join you ladies?
I have a lot of weight to lose, but if I lose at least 1 pound a week, I should be where I want by the time I finish chemo, Bmx and Rads. So far I have lost 17 pounds (I had just started a diet 2 weeks before Dx) -
Of course you can join. Welcome. Slow and steady does it. -
Welcome, Warrior! -
122.4...Down 0.3 lb accordimg to DD's scale. -
AnnieLane, hope your having fun! My stats are the same as last week, but considering we had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner on sat. I'm quite pleased. This also seems to be my pattern. 172.8 good luck everyone. -
I am back to where I started, so I lost 1.5lbs this week. -
Back from vacation. Forgot where I left off but I think I'm up just 200 grams. We did TONS of Walking. (Sorry for some weird initial caps but the BCO upgrade seems to have affected my Default language Settings.) Welcome, Warrior50! -
down 1.5....highly recommend oral surgery for weight loss (put the gagging face in) -
No thanks, Ruth! Though I might consider a 24 hour stomach flu.....just kidding!!!
I am still STUCK STUCK STUCK!!! Grrr. No change again.
But I am now the proud owner of a great juicer and am on day three of trying different combinations. Purchased for health, but if it kick starts my negative metabolism I would be thrilled to endorse their product. Lol.
