    October 26 or 27 brunch or lunch?  Has one date been chosen yet?

    I'm good with either one.

    koshka, let's make it happen. I am not going to do the yoga retreat. Ossa, any interest in spending the night here? If so we should think about it being on Saturday, 26th. Once we agree, we can post on the other sites to see who else can come. Happy to host potluck here.

    Ok, let's do the 26th. Can you post on the other boards? Also, I suggest those interested contact you by Private Message so your address isn't made public. We should also know what those will bring so we don't end up with 10 deserts. Well... Maybe 10 would be good. !!!

    Also maybe make a note if anyone is on transit, others can help pick up at bus stop or sky train etc...

    Hi ladies.  If I'm around then I'll be in.  Have to play it by ear though because there's the chance I'll be out of town that weekend.  I've added this thread as a favorite and will keep track of how thing's are progressing.

    Vancouver get-together October 26. Chemo brain issues but so far Adagio, Cdnchick, maybe Sneaky, Koshka, maybe Ossa, MarieK?. Please let us know here and/or the British Columbia thread as I think many do not know about this one.

    What time is the best? I don't mind putting my address here rather than PM everyone as I know I will forget someone.

    Add my name to the list as long as we are meeting in the afternoon, if need be I can just drop in and visit a bit and leave early ( can't drive at night) but do not plan the timing on my account. I am just so happy that I can get out and drive again after wearing a cast on my arm for 7 weeks, well two weeks of it I was traveling on a tour in Russia, still getting over the jet lag on that one.



    Marian I think as a general policy that you should not post your address or phone number on the forum, even if just as an example to others to follow. It might not matter to you but it might for someone else in different circumstances. I'll send you a PM.

    Also, I am coming and bring another lady Hi5 who has been in the Chatroom with me for about 6 years.  I am out in Langley, if anyone needs a ride or me to pick up at skytrain atc......please reach out.

    OK, it is now posted on BC and Canadian threads. Noon On Saturday, Oct. 26. Please PM me with your email and I will compile a list and send it out so that we can coordinate rides and what we are bringing. I just decided it was getting too complicated with PM's for everything. I will also put my address and phone numbers in that email.

    OK, I just sent an email to everyone who sent me PM's re the potluck lunch at noon on Oct. 26th.

    Please let me know if you don't get the email as I may have got it wrong or if I missed you or if you still want to come but have not let me know.


    If you are from out of town but still would like to come, I am sure we can do pick ups at the airport, bus, ferry etc. MarieK lives quite near Horseshoe Bay for instance and I am not far from the airport or Bridgeport if someone was coming from Victoria/Tsawassen. We have two guest rooms.


    This will be posted on both BC and get-together threads.
