I think in Haiku
and its obvious to all
I have much to say!
LOL -
All right this is not a haiku. But here is a poem I wrote for fall. And, yes Badger, when I write it is in rhyme with rhythm. Cant help it. LOL
The summer slowly fades away
into autumns gold.
The summer sun will shine today
With just a hint of cold.
Kaleidoscoping colors shine
from almost ev'ry tree,
with brown and bronze and even wine
as far as eyes can see.
The colors are a gift we get
when cold just nips the air.
They're telling us the time is set
and yet its so unfair.
The summer is so very short
its barely here-then gone.
And now the weather will soon thwart
all plans from dusk to dawn!
The sun's carress once more will play
upon our hair and face;
See how the color's here today,
Awaiting our embrace.
For now we will enjoy the show,
watch colors change some more.
And, sadly,slowly we'll let go;
till Winter's at the door. -
Lovely, Moon!
I love the fall, thanks! -
Thunder booms loudly
Light'ning flashes in the dark
in an Autumn storm. -
Monica - beautiful! 3TTCx3 ♥
Where did Summer go?/
Golden leaves on still-green grass/
God's a Packers fan! -
Squirrels with tails furled / up their backs to ward off rain / nibble nibble nuts
-
Packers are ahead
Still a lot of plays to go
keeping fingers crossed. -
where'd everyone go? / missing all your poetry / please post more haiku! ♥
-
Badger waits for more
I am willing to do it
such as it may be.
LOL Just remembered you asked! LOL
Thunder loudly roars
lightening flashes brightly
Saturday once more!
And an old poem of mine - not haiku. Just in case you were wondering. LOL
Autumn Falls
The vista glows in tones
deepest orange and brightest red.
The eyes will take it in
until the Soul is fed.
Preparing for the days
of little but black and white;
they're trying to absorb
every color within sight.
For when those days of darkness
begin to heavy weigh,
deep within without a doubt,
that's where the colors stay. -
:-) thanks!!
-
weatherman was wrong / blue sky today not rain clouds / Happy Badger day!
-
did they win or is it your Bday? -
Not my birthday, Moon / just great to be a Badger / thanks girlfriend, love B. ♥
-
Thanks for all the haiku. I am not creative so cannot contribute, but am enjoying reading all the poems. -
Pessa, as you see
its not too hard to write one
all you do is count!
LOL. -
Grateful as morning / wakes the birds and stirs the trees. / I arise and breathe.
