FEC Side Effects

Hi Everyone,


In a couple of weeks I will have my 4th of 4 FEC Treatments. My question is - will the 4th treatment produce new or worse side effects than the first three or will the 4th FEC be more of what I have already experienced? I can't imagine my body suddenly waking up on the 4th treatment and giving me side effects that I didn't experience with the first 3 treatments.


Any input would be much appreciated......

    I don't think there'll be any change. I had 6, I found them gradually cumulative in the ses, also, I did not have a port so by the time I got picked the 4th time my veins were balking and I'd have to be given ativan and have The chemo nurse of all chemo nurses use her special birthday story party about blowing out the candles routine to get the darned thing in. By 6 I had HAD it! The silver lining was my gums improved a lot by the time I saw a dentist again - as I had flossed & brushed about 5 times a day as my mouth tasted like a garbage pit.
