Menstrual Cycle while on Chemo?

Hello ladies I'm just over half way through Chemo I had no period the whole time til now. I have now been on my cycle going on 3 weeks. It is also very heavy. Has anyone else experience this? I was told I would not have one. It is draining me of whatever energy I have left.

    I wish I had some advice.  I started chemo on 8/29/13 and my cycle started four days later.  I just now unexpectedly started cycle #2 five days early.  It sucks.  I thought most people didn't have a period during chemo.  Guess I don't fall into that category!

    My period started becoming sketchy in Feb, 2013, my GYN thought I was starting menopause.  After starting chemo I started light spotting . . . I never needed anything more than a pantiliner.

    The next month I had light spotting for 2 weeks straight.  My GYN thought it was my period and asked me to call back if it didn't go away after two weeks.  It went away.  We'll see what next month brings.

    If your getting heavy periods, you may want to take 65mg of iron.
