Non-hormonal contraception

Hi!

Just hoping to get some feedback on choices you've made around contraception if you have had a hormone receptor positive cancer.  I was just about to go on oral contraceptives when I was diagnosed, and then my surgeon said to stay off of them.  My husband and I are still very active, and I'm pre-menopausal.  I know that with Tamoxifen my estrogen levels will decrease, also I've heard (but admittedly haven't done any research into) the uterine cancer risks of taking Tamoxifen.  Remotely considering tubal ligation and/or hysterectomy, just to minimize Ut CA risk.  I really don't want to have endometrial biopsies every year!  Thanks for your feedback.
