What is lacking?

This is a common topic that I have been hearing a lot lately and it got me thinking. What do you feel is lacking for women with BC past or present? This could be something as small as cosmetics or clothing, to physical help or awareness?

I think sometimes my doctors just assumed that I was doing a lot of research and that I was informed about everything, but that wasn't always the case for me.  My surgeon never told me that my breasts would be numb after the mastectomy.  I was also never told that a radiated breast doesn't look very good with an implant--my radiated side is not a "pretty" as my non-radiated side.

It might be nice if breastcancer.org had a therapist or some sort of emotional counselor who was available to answer questions on a specifc message board, or monitored these message boards and jumped in once in awhile with some advice.  It seems to me that a lot of women come here to talk about about how miserable they are, then other people jump in with their stories, and the flames just get fanned into a bigger fire.  But maybe I'm wrong, and talking about it helps.  I like knowing that other people are experiening the same emotions, but then sometimes I don't know if I leave log off from here feeling better or worse.

How about foot massages during chemo?  :)
