I have always wanted to say a special prayer for Patti as she's been amazingly supportive and is one of the most unselfish and compassionate women I've ever met. But unfortunately I don't know how to pray as I'm not a Christian. So instead of a prayer, I'll post this poem with so many thanks to our dearest sister Patti.



Thank you all for all that you have done.
Hard times are now turned into times of pride.
All this we managed with you by our side,
Nor could we otherwise this course have run.
Kindness isn't tendered on demand:
You gave with love, not merely out of duty.
Our days are daily burnished by that beauty.
Upon your love we now proudly stand.

    Fumi, you are so sweet and I couldn't agree with you more!
    I never find really good prayers...but I want to add ~

    "It is not how much you do, but how much love you put in the doing".

    I don't know who said that, but the sentiment expresses how I feel about Patti and all that she does here for all of us.

    Three cheers and numerous endless prayers for Patti. She is like the chaplain on this board and a spiritual leader. We are blessed with her presence.

    I consider you my friend
    Although we've never met
    You've managed to touch my heart
    Through this thing called 'The Net'
    You've been there for me
    When I've needed someone
    How can I ever thank you
    For all that you've done
    When I've needed a shoulder
    A prayer, a hug or an ear
    You have been there for me
    Like we've been friends for years


    I don't quite understand it
    Us meeting as cyber-friends
    But I know God had a hand in it
    In order for me to mend
    I prefer not to use it
    This term 'cyber-friend'
    I'll leave off the 'cyber'
    And just call you friend


    I feel I must thank you
    For showering me with love
    My angel
    right here on earth

    I had a little heart attack when I saw the title - thought something was wrong with Patti!

    Patti, it's an honor to know you, although I wish we hadn't met this way! You are definately one of the bright spots on my highway!!!

    Now that was scary...that title...sure caught my eye...Patti's always in my prayers...please, no more scares like that...I can feel my hear beat in my stomach right now...I like to refer to Patti as Ms. Popularity...did you know she has a tiara?...Yes...beautiful as she is...Mena...xo

    Patti, I will never forget the kindness you have always shown me. You are always here for all of us. Your kindness can never be repaid, but I can thank God over and over again for allowing you into my life.

    Seriously though, Patti, I check daily for your posts. They are inspirational and give me my daily dose of goodness.

    Deese, do you have something to drink with that cake?! Milk, tea?! Or is Kari going to smuggle that in when she's creeping on down the hall?!? And girlfriend, I think Carrie's going to catch on to the "anonymous" signature..just a hunch..better check that she hasn't lifted those forks on you!

    Patti...I'm sure they'll be happy to save you a piece of the cake (but you'd better bring your own fork!)
