Herceptin every 4 weeks instead of every three?

I was stage IV at diagnosis with bone and cartilege mets and had 6 TCH, lumpectomy, IMRT radiation ending in July of 2008.  I have been on maintenance with Herceptin every 3 weeks and originally zometa and now Xgeva every four weeks.  I have been NED for 5 years with even some bone remodeling.  I have been thinking about having the herceptin infusions every 4 weeks so I would be going in only once a month for the herceptin and xgeva.  But I have had such a marvelous outcome that it scares me to change the regimen.  What do you guys think?

    I think I would go for it. I have only been Ned for 2 1/2 years, and I rarely get it every 3 weeks. I take months off in the summer, and go once a month during the holidays.



    Once I am Ned for longer, hopefully, my plan is only to get 6-8 doses spread out through the year.
