I hope this makes sense what I am trying to ask, and I hope everyone can understand my question, but i was wondering is it possible for triple negative breast cancer to return years later as hormonal positive breast cancer? Can someone go from being er-/pr- and her2- to er+/pr-, her2-

It's my understanding that, if the hormone receptors have changed, then you are not dealing with a recurrence of the triple negative breast cancer, but a new primary breast cancer.
