My Husb 51 yo came home tonight and said his right nipple has been itchy really bad for a couple weeks. He thought he had a insect bite, but did not. I just looked at it and the left nipple is the normal small circle shape raised evenly pink... blah blah blah the right one (the itchy one) is same color, raised shape but is slightly oval, has a slight crease in the flat top and just slightly different looking(barely kind of looking like shape of 8 smaller on top and a bit larger on bottom). No giant red flags aside from the itching, and it is slightly misformed. Only noticeable when you really compare them...... Any ideas?? He is freaking that he may have BC?????

Most of us here will probably tell you that if a symptom does not go away in two weeks that it is time to go and get it checked out, if only for peace of mind.

    Hi USAF135 -

The best course of action is to have the flight surgeon take a close look.  If it is male breast cancer it may be at a very early stage, which is very good.  Be sure your husband mentions concern about MBC, otherwise a poorly informed doctor could misdiagnose the symptoms.  Waiting is the worst enemy for MBC. Check it out!!
