I'm shocked that I have not heard of this tv program or the young man who hosts it. I just came across it yesterday while channel surfing. He shows you how to make everything from facial masks and mouthwash to vericose vein and earache treatments. Very cool. A quick google of the host describes him as "scientist and gardener". Oh yeah, he's super cute, too.

Check it out, it's being shown on two channels here in Canada....the ONE channel and BBC Canada.

I'm kind of in between the US and Canada at the moment and I saw it while I was home in Canada on the "One" network and on "BBC-Canada" channels at around 12:30 and 1:00 pm respectively. Looks like it's on daily. Still familiarizing myself with the US channels but when I did a search it shows up on "The Cooking Channel" in the US. Don't know the channel numbers...I imagine they differ between tv providers. I imagine it would be easy to find what channels in your area carry the program if you google "Grow Your Own Drugs".

there's a site.  mr waong looks about the age to be my great great great grandson, but the site looks interesting.  will check it out soon.  now that tv has gone digital I get hardly any chanells unless I get a box which I won't do, too many transformers in here anyway, or a new tv which I may do if I can figure out how to ditch the old one, and yet the new tv's don't play movies which I might want......ponder, ponder.  & yes it's on cooking which I never got

I LOVE this guy! Today he made home-made hair removal sugar. It cost virtually nothing to make; last time I bought a commercial brand it was 40 bucks a jar. It's awesome to know there's a natural alternative for almost anything. Wish I had discovered all these things years ago before I inundated myself with chemicals.
