I use a regular razor in the shower, but use it only once...and hold my breath I don't hurt myself.

I would love advice on this one because the electric razor left a burn! (like razor rash which burned)

I could not use an electric razor as it also left me with a horrible rash no matter what I did.  I just use a regular razor very carefully and put antibiotic ointment on it for the night.  I have never had a rash or cut from that.

I use a Panasonic close curves (this one: http://www.target.com/p/panasonic-close-curves-3-blade-wet-dry-ladies-shaver/-/A-11041315). It works well for me--well, it worked well for me before and between the chemo and radiation (I only need it to touch up a small area now that I've had the whole underarm radiated, so I guess that was a bonus!).

I've heard the wet dry ones are also more gentle if you use them wet with lots of suds, but I never had a problem without that, either.

Thats the one I ended up getting. Tried it today for first time. Seemed to not do much, maybe I wasnt pressing hard enough tho, cause I was nervous. Will try it a few times and see-- then maybe do regular razor super carefully. But in the end, this Panasonic was the one I got.

I just stopped shaving almost all together. I MAY shave 1-3 times a year but not more than that. I am too afraid of knicking myself and because of neuropathy pain, hairs growing out in my armpits feel like cacti under there.

I guess each one of us has to ask ourselves if a possible cut and LE is worth the shaving?
