swollen hand

last two weeks starting eating a lot of salt in my diet. Hand swelled. Last time my hand swelled was 5 years ago after radiation therapy. Wore the sleeve and glove today to try and get the swelling down. Did I do the right thing. Tryed to contact lyphadema specialist. But she didn't call me back. Tomorrow I will go see someone. I really think it was the added salt to my otherwise limited salt intake. Anyone relate? Thank you
