Very worried. Anyone else have this issue

I think all of us have been there.  Only I new right after my mastectomy that I had mets and was stage iv.  I have never been in remission, for 5 yrs.  You can worry yourself sick, and you will still have the tests.  You can pretend you don't have cancer (my favorite, lol), and you will still have the tests.  I say when you start to get worked up, remind yourself that you have to do what you have to do, and that you have too because you need more info, tell yourself you have to wait till you have that information, and take a deep breath.  I don't care if you have to do it every hour or every minute.  For me, it helped to keep my emotions under control, I didn't have control over what was happening, but at least I could try to stop myself from going crazy over something I didn't know yet.  I hope this helps.  I will be thinking of you.
