I am currently taking:

Vit D, high dose Omega 3 caps, Iron (I am iron deficient) and calcium

I was told that CoQ10 is good for the heart (since i had chemo and Herceptin) there are a bunch of other supplements I have been suggested for joint pain

My question is what have your doctors/onc told you to take?  I was only advised the iron and vitD

How many supplements can we take realistically ??? I honestly feel like an old lady some days toting around my pill box.

My onc has not instructed me specifically other than a low-dose aspirin, calcium and vit D, I am osteopenic and get Prolia every 6 months.  I asked my GP if I could wean myself off the statin I have been taking for a number of years, and have added some heart healthy supplements in its place.  I have devised my own regimen, and have shown him my list, and he has approved.  He actually asked if he could keep my copy that I brought in to discuss with him on my last visit.  In addition to the daily Femara I take, I have added a probiotic, extra fiber, magnesium (with my calcium), CoQ10, non-flushing Niacin, B complex, extra B12, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Claritin, Krill oil with extra joint supplement, Glucosamine and Condroitin, regular multi-vitamin, and biotin.  And yes, I have an old-lady pill case too!

rozem - I do take the multi because it has a few things in it that I am not getting from the other supplements.  I factor in the amount of calcium, Vit D, B vits, etc. I take, because the ulti does have some too.
