Happy Monday, Ladies!

Does Herceptin cause lymphedma to flare up?

Three weeks ago my hand was pretty swollen, eventually went down on its own. I had Herceptin that week.  I was still swollen the following week and a little of last week. Then my hand looked pretty good.  This morning I had hercpetin and it swelled up again. Any thoughts?

    Hi

    I am on Kadcyla, which is Emantansine attached to Herceptin.  Whenever I get a treatment it flares up, but usually only after a week, and for 1 - 4 days during the cycle it is particularly swollen.
