Hello! I posted previously about having one armpit lymph node removed to check for lymphoma . It was benign. I am three weeks post surgery. My arm muscle (bicep) aches and has a piercing occasional pain in one specific spot. My skin on my arm is also burning/tingly. Is this LE or nerve regeneration? Any opinions? The muscle really hurts in one specific spot.

Lymphoma is a totally different. Kind of cancer so am sure you are meaning Lymphodema which is a complication of lymph node removals after mastectomy. I has 22 nodes removed with just one being positive for cancer. I had terrible burning under my arm and under the incision area of the breast. Part of my underarm skin is still numb today 6 years later .I would suspect yours is due to some nerve damage under the arm as mine was.For the surgeon to be successful at removing a bunch of lymph nodes it is almost impossible to not have some nerves be pushed around during this surgery. I think your surgeon would tell you it can take a long time for nerves to heal. Have you asked yours about this?. Did you get some Physical Therapy after surgery. That may help or even exercise of the arm at home. I now have a problem w/shoulder pain now and therapy was suggested.
