Non-responding to neo-adjuvant chemotherapy.

Hi!

I've been diagnosed in March this year with ER+PR-HER- breast cancer. Tumor of 9 cm. Had 4 cycles of EC and 3 docetaxel/taxotere. I have one more of txotere. Tumor is still the same it did not shrunk. In September i have evaluation to find out next step. Anyone the same experience? Thanks!

    Sorry you didn´t get any real answers yet... Until other members come along to post with their experiences and support, there is a topic called ER+PR-HER- under the Mixed Type Breast Cancer forum that you may find interesting to read/post.

    I'd have to look up the precise names of my chemo, but it was four if the "red devil" and one of the Taxol. Not shrinking. I am triple negative. I am getting a mastectomy this Thursday. I'm eager to hear from others, too, who did not respond to chemo. After the mastectomy, I have to restart chemo-- six more sessions. I was so eager for that to end this month. I worry about it not working, of course. I wonder how common this is. I am eager to have these tumors removed.

    Hi, I'm sorry that your cancer has not responded.



    Is it ductal or lobular?



    What has your oncologist said about this?
