subcentimeter upper retroperitoneal nodes- likely reactive. what does this line in ct scan report mean?? kindly help me.

    It sounds like you hade some lymph nodes light up in your abdomen. "Reactive" usually means that it's the result of infection not cancer. Sub centimeter is also good as larger nodes tend to indicate malignancy. Your doctor should be able to explain all of it to you, but none of it seems to be pointing to mets if that's what you're thinking.
