My Mom needs prayers

Hello wonderful ladies,

I'm asking for prayers for my mom. She is having her mastectomy tomorrow with a SLN. We sure could use some prayers for peace and comfort and good news. I'm not good at asking for help but she's recently lost her husband of 50 years (my dad) and this is just not a good time for her to be dealing with this (as if there is a good time!)

Please say a prayer for us. Thank you. You are a wonderful, caring group of people.

Prayers are on the way for a good outcome to the surgery and tests. May God bless you and your mom with peace in this stressful time.

Sending up prayers for your mom's surgery and recovery, for you while you are waiting and for your recent loss ~ you'll both be missing your father very much at this time. I'm sure he's keeping your mother safe through this journey. She's blessed to have you to help her through the darkness of this difficult time.

Thank you for your gentle words. We've had a VERY long day but I finally have that feeling of being the "good" kind of exhausted and I'll finally sleep peacefully tonight. Mom had her mastectomy and SLN biopsy. They are 95% that it has not spread to the nodes. I wept with joy when I heard that. Given all of the bad news I've heard lately, I completely expected to hear more.

I'll be taking her home tomorrow and staying with her for a while.

Your prayers have meant a lot to me and I prayer that each of you feels the calm that comes from knowing others (even strangers) really do care about you.

    Thanks again -

    Sally
