((((hugs))))) tlcforever. We are sorry you are back here, but we will help guide and support you as much as we all can. We hope you have a good treatment team, and perhaps a new local support group could be helpful too. If you are in the US, the American Cancer Society ofters good services, so perhaps calling them would be helpful.
We are thinking of you!

Ticforever,
Sorry you had to come back, but glad to see you did.
I can't imagine what it's like to have to do this a second time- I was straight in at stage IV, but I do understand a little of what you're going through. I have my husband and kids here, and some friends, but I'm in a different country to my family and lifelong friends and have to deal with everything in a foreign language. I have never had the opportunity to meet anyone with the same dx as me, excepting here on the boards.
It's hard to feel positive, especially right after dx, but once you've met your team and have a tx in place you'll have a clearer idea of where you are and what your options are.
Please post again, let us know how you're doing, there's some great advice and experience to be had, and plenty of ears to listen if you need to rant - we've all been there!
((((((Hugs))))))

Hey Tic, sorry you need to be here again but glad you've come back. Treatments for stage IV are a little different than first time round as in they are not quite as strong and levelled at trying to keep the cancer under control and give you a decent quality of life.
We all know that well end up a pile of dirt but the boards help to talk with people who really do get how you feel and what you are going through. We are happy to give you as much or as little support as you want but please keep coming back for your own sanities sake.
Hope you get some good treatment ideas from your onc.

tlcforever - so sorry for the reason that you have had to find your way back here. But, you will certainly find the support and encouragement from everyone here that you need to help you through. If and when you are comfortable, please tell us a bit more about your situation. There is quite likely someone that has a similar dx that can help answer some of the questions that you have.
Fear of the unknown certainly enter all of our minds and at times leave us feeling like there is no hope. Once you talk with your dr more about the tx options available, you will feel a bit more in control. It is scary no doubt, but please come by often for reassurance and support.
((hugs))

I am so sorry you are facing this again and wish you strength. I know many women here will be supportive and can help you. There are also many avenues for support such as social worker, psychologist. Perhaps that would be a good option as well in addition to your medical treatment for BC. Our minds need help too and speaking to a qualified therapist can really help.
Hugs
