From what I have heard, pain is likely due to cancer if it aggravates at night during your sleep.

I have been having a bit of burning pain in my breast and node area since about Day 14. The oncology nurse said it was the AC ( Adriamycin & Cytoxin) sweeping through the area getting cancer cells cleaned up. So a good pain. Just have to stay focused on that until I hear otherwise. Have had surgery to hand 8 years ago so familiar with nerve pain. Plus my PT said that all women who have had breast surgery - especially with nodes removed have a strong pain in back of chest wall which she said comes from the bar they put in to lift things up during surgery. More nerve damage. It will get better. Some nerves can reconnect but some will just be gone.

Anyone else feeling like there is pain from the chemo in the breast?

I have just completed chemo and had lots of various aches and pains all over including in the chest. It seems that the chemo weakens you so you feel every ache and pain so much more. It would always get better by the end of the third week and then start all over again with the next treatment. Good luck with your treatments.
