A fresh, new start

Ok, where to begin?

I've been on this ride for 6 years. I feel like I've been putting things off and clinging to things because "what if it comes back again"! Well that's all changing. I ended a marriage a year and a half ago-should have done it sooner. I've resigned my position as a teacher where I live now and am moving 3 1/2 hours away to be close to family.

I'm having diep surgery on July 29th.

I'm seriously contemplating going back to school to get my nursing degree that I started 20 years ago. Has anyone else completely changed like this? Has anyone else started a new career after BC. I'm 41 years old now and question whether or not I'm too old or how I will pay for it but I keep coming back to it.

I would love to hear from you!

If your heart keeps telling you , please listen up. and go for it. you are ONLY in your early 40's! do it now! you could have a 20-yr career of doing what you like. Congrats on your fresh start. BC has a way of reshaping our priorities, in my case I became an optimist.
