    Barb, hello!

If your insurance will cover it, you would need a prescription from one of your doctors, then you go to a fitter (preferably one who's experienced with truncal LE) and have her fit you. Some fitters work in mastectomy boutiques, others at Prosthetic and Orthotic places. Your therapist would know whom to recommend, or your hospital might have a boutique that can help you.

That said, compression bras are wildly expensive, so you might want to try something more reasonable first. Some of us use compression sports shirts, and the consensus is that the men's sizes fit better in the underarm than the women's. Others have found sports bras or camis that work for them. Still others use breast binders. You can find links to all these options described and reviewed at the bottom of this page:

Some of us wear one thing or another all the time. For nighttime you can use a night vest from Solaris or JoviPak, a breast binder, or a sports bra--we're all different in what we think is most comfortable and what works for us, so it does take some (pricey!Frown) experimentation, but hang in there any you'll soon have what you need to tame the LE beast!

    Hugs,
    Binney
