Canker sores, sleep, trigger finger and anastrozole

Options

I have been on anastrozole (generic for Arimidex) for almost seven months.   Aside from being a warm body temperature as in menopausal symptoms, I didn't notice any side effects until recently.   Now I am not sleeping soundly, I sometimes get what I think is trigger finger in my middle finger during the night and most disturbing is a return of canker sores.  Years ago I had what was often a debilitating problem with these mouth sores.  However, after I started a twice a day regimen of Lysine, Vit. C and B6, the incidence and severity of the canker sores decreased dramatically.   Now, I am again experiencing the kind of frequency and severity of canker sores that I had years ago, despite taking extra Lysine, which usually helps.   I am perplexed that these symptoms started after six months.  When I had cankers before, I tried every treatment known to humankind.  Nothing was as effective as the lysine, Vit. C and B-6 and, though I can suffer any other side effects of the Anastrozole, I cannot bear a return to the canker sores.   Anyone else experience increased symptoms such as these months after going on the drug?

I have had sleep problems since I started anastrazole 2 1/2 yrs ago.  They have improved slightly over the course of these 2 1/2 years, but still a problem.  Have also developed trigger fingers on both middle fingers.  I have not had an issue with canker sores (did have terrible mouth sores during chemo, but these have resolved).  Just trying to live with the side effects.  Living with a recurrance would be worse............

I used to have canker sores years ago and found they went away when I switched to a toothpaste without SLS.  A lot of people are sensitive to SLS.  I don't get them any more but I have lots of gum and dental problems since BC treatment.

I know how bad canker sores are - I couldn't eat or talk for a few days with one particularly bad one. But now dentists can treat canker sores with a laser now - pain gone in less than a minute.
