Flirting with your doctor

Options

This may have been discussed before but does anyone else flirt with their onc or surgeon? My onc is quite attractive for his age (60s), very intelligent and has a lovely smile and 'bedside manner'. I have full confidence in trusting him 'with my life'.

Does anyone else fancy your doc and show it?

It's not really flirting but my BS is a rather quirky, enigmatic, perfectionist, and an offbeat sense of humour. His intelligence just sparkles. so I always enjoy my interaction with him and do wonder what kind of a partner he would make in a relationship - probably challenging! I also have complete faith in his doctoring abilities and sincerity.

Last time he examined me (he does all my follow-ups, for almost 5 yrs now) he said what's that bump? and placed my finger firmly on a bump right on my scar line. yikes, cancer? no, he said it was pink & red & looked more like an insect bite but would have to be biopsied if not gone in a month. I did then have to admit it: a FLEA had jumped off me earlier in the day (I have 6 cats & guess it had just become flea season) He acted like that was totally normal then I laughed & said - and I was kind of afraid one might jump off me in the dr's office - which didn't faze him at all  -

I have also talked to him in that groggy high when coming out of surgery to tell him "important" things like I was so glad he was wearing all black when I met him and this impressed me as he didn't come in with a white lab coat & a stethascope around his neck on first meeting me - he scurried away quickly muttering "we aim to please"  and in the background some male voice said "yeah, Dr. Death" which I found hilarous............I am pretty sure he thinks I'm a total nutcase but is ok going along with it........:-)
