Renee - are you being seen by a neurologist, when I got mine I had an injectible form of Imitrex, you had to push the button on it when it would first started, but it saves the day, I feel so bad for you. Ask your doctor, it is also available in a pill and nasal spray.
-
...I missed some of the early stuff on The Voice tonight. I was out watching my boys play soccer. Then, during the voice I also had to watch an important qualifying match (WIN!) for the men's national team...
All I can say is Cher has a great plastic surgeon AND Mariah please take note that ultra-diva Cher did not lip-sync her perfrmance.
Enjoyed Bob Seger. Enjoyed Karina Iglesias. Hearing her again tonight just reminded me how much more I liked her than Sasha, Amber and a couple of the others.
How could Danielle NOT win? She is just bursting with potenial for a long, long career. Hope she stays sweet.
-
Oh, and she probably should not hook up with Bieber.
-
eli, Bieber should not hook up with Bieber, he is in trouble again, I forgot what he did, it was on Good Morning America this AM.
-
Eli...as young as Danielle is she looks like a very mature and smart girl
Bieber was in trouble with another pedestrian related something........
-
I'll hold true to my prior statement....I didn't really care who won, cause I liked all 3 finalist, but I was holding out for a split country vote that would have put Michelle in the winner's circle..didn't happen. Congrats Danielle.
I'm with you Eli. The Ingelsia's girl was far & away above almost everybody. She was great last night.

Karen, No I've never seen a neurologist. No reason to. My migraines actually started back in 1987 after I had my baby daughter. I had fallen down a the steps on my back deck when I was about 7 mos pregnant and landed on my hands and knees, after that my back hurt me relentlessly. My mother nagged me to go see a chiropractor after I had her so I made an appt. and went to see this guy I had gone to high school with and that she and my step-dad both used. X-rays were done and showed I had (a military neck caused from years of being poked in the back in elementary school and told to sit up straight and I also had a car wreck when I was 16 - they figure I had a whiplash that I never went to the ER for). Any way (I never had a migraine or head ache before then) he started adjusting me and trying to put a curve back into my neck since I had none. My neck had become completely straight and lost it's curve. My muscles had adjusted to the straight neck but when he tried to put the curve back the muscles weren't strong enough to hold them (the little bones in your neck and up under your skull) and still aren't and they slip out, pinch the nerves off and cause pain and trigger migraines which causes muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders. I really need to go back to the chiropractor. I can't live there though. When I was going before I had to go 3-4 times a week. I had excellent insurance also. Now our insurance will only pay for like 12 visits a year. So I'm just poop out of luck!!
But you are right the Imitrex shots do work better and quicker... I have used them before. My doc I use to have gave me some samples once upon a time. She isn't here anymore and they are quiet pricey.
Sorry for the runon story here... just needed to vent.
-
Dear Renee, wow you have quite the history of potential causes for your migraines, it is a shame when medical insurance forces you to not have the treatment that helps and could prevent your migraines. They are so terrible to have to live through. I was head butted in the forehead by a student who had severe behavioral problems and mine began then. I was left with bone chips in my neck, I was teaching then in a State School and had excellent insurance, you're right the Imitrix is very pricey without insurance. My heart aches for you that when there is a cure available and you have to do without. Lousy insurance company policies!!!!!!
-
Thanks a million Karen, it's really nice to have someone to empathize with. By the way I am in American Idol and The Voice withdrawals! LOL!!!! Anyone else with me?
-
Renee, I'm right there with you, did not know what to watch on either night, driven to The Bachelorette, total dribble. Been doing CD's of Blake and Miranda and reading, my grandson came up on Tuesday to ask me to turn "that music" down, lol. I was off my AI for a week break, trouble with my knees and started getting migraines again, they are just brutal, went away as soon as I started up on another AI. Makes you feel like you'd like to chop your head off. I totally get it. Karen

-
Saw Colton Dixon in concert last night & got to shake his hand! He's a very nice young man.
-
CMA Music Festival, with Carrie, Blake, Keith, Tim and many, many more on August 12th.
-
Eph - Awesome you got to shake his hand! You could tell during his season on AI that he was going to be one of those success stories without the AI crown.
My son's future employer, Microsoft, had a big convention in town last week (Atlanta). We saw the pictures of a concert they put on last Friday night with.... Usher! And... Vedo! And.... Michelle! Nice of Usher to showcase his team when he gets the chance.
-
I'd like to see Michelle in concert! With rival judge Adam! Yumm!
-
Counting down the minutes till Voice 5 premieres. Can't wait!!!!

-
Renee, I'm right there with you, can't come soon enough, everything else on TV is dribble!

-
Hi Karen...i was on You Tube all afternoon listening all types of music

-
Always a good way to spend an afternoon, I get lost finding that one artist leads me to another. I find the words and music soothing to the soul, I am surprised how much I have changed my allegiance to country western, the stories so often evoke such a strong connection to something in my life. Cannot wait to get "our people" back.
-
I was just wondering if any of you have listen http://youtu.be/Nyy6OYwfSNg Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony
http://youtu.be/VJGclmHdA4s from the X-Factory last season.... Both have record deals and have released singles and Emblem3 just released their first complete CD, it's at WalMart and etc... The links do work if you click on them

-
didn't like either one well enough to listen. Everyone I liked most didn't make it very far.
-
What a Good night on CMA

-
