Hi all,

I'm so glad I found this group, although I'm sad to be here. My sister, 32,  was diagnosed with TNBC Stage 2 last month. She was confirmed + for BRCA1 gene 2 days ago. I'm so incredibly sad for her family as I know she wanted more children (timing and $ did not allow any egg harvesting or other means). She is having a hard time with the double mastectomy too.

I am plnning to see the Dr. soon and request testing. I'm 30, and we've recently moved to a new town. I am worried about it and even if I don't have the BRCA gene, I feel we wont have more children because I would feel awful for my sister.

I've had some strange symptoms, extreme fatigue and nausea, slight cramping... etc in the past month. I saw a Dr. last week who ran some blood work and found my WBC to be low. She attributed it to stress and virus wearing me down. I am now scared about Ovarian Cancer as some of my symptoms seem similar.

Sorry for the post jumping around - Glad to be here and talk with you all!

I am so very sorry that you and your family are going through this as we are dealing with the same thing too. I go for genetic counseling (not testing as I just want information at this point) on Monday and I am so scared. I am even more scared to get my sister's results and it looks like since the Dr. never called like was promised we will be anxious all weekend. I am going to pray that you are fine other than significant stress which is understandable......

    Hi Maureen,

Just wanted to check in with you and see if you have found anything out - I got my gene test back and it was negative. I am so thankful to have this information but still just incredibly sad my sis is dealing with this all.

    Prayers to you <3
