New Want To Play A Word Game
Comments

Or if I could sing a little ditty....
-
And I would sing right after you, same words, "ditto"....
-
I toted a microphone and an amplifier in here so we are sure he hears you singing
-
Duly NOTED.
(Wow, Zogo, I was stumped, great job!) -
Which is the BEST way to wake up a sleeping person? If given a choice, I am sure he would have voted for the singing rather than a loud gong!
-
It drove me crazy when my daughter started playing violin. But, at least it wasn't a gong! And she eventually became very good.
-
LOL, I loved hearing my DD learning to play the clarinet. BUT growing up, when my bro was learning the violin, I hated it. Only cause he was my bro though!!!
(When we were in Vegas last wk, at the Bellagio Conservatory, a man was playing an ELECTRIC harp....he played "Sway Me" and it was so lovely!)
-
I'm really a music lover at heart. I have an appreciation for all kinds of genres.
-
Anyone watching the Bachelorette tonight? She has to play so many different roles depending on which guy she is with. BUT they are on my fav island, Madeira....my ancestors came from there (to HI) and I have *prolly* done most things they will show. Love it there!!! Was just there in March but I want to go back!
-
Sometimes I watch with DD. She always follows it. I don't know all the rules of the show. Will she send one suitor home tonight?
-
Yes, I think another one bites the dust tonight. SO funny when they show the deep kisses close up, like a big slurp! (Did you see the wicker (tobaggan) ride down the mountain? Done that twice, its such fun!
-
My, my, my! This is moving so fast today!
I'll be watching Bachelorette later tonight. The toboggan sounds like fun, would make my PULSE race! Wahine, sounds like you've seen the world, I'm envious! When I see that part, will think of you! -
Well at least it won't put you to sleep!I took videos the first time we did the wicker sled down the mountain, and it goes back and forth from 1 side of the road to the other...then the close calls with cars! WHen they do the go-cart track, we took pics of that, as it is below the road going to the other side of the island. I think the "fado" singer was featured at the hotel we were at the first time I went there (over 12 yrs ago). SO MUCH they did not show though, that I think is so much more unique and beautiful. Next time they should ask me to pick the spots they will film...lol.
-
Wahine, have you ever considered being a tour director? You have been so many places and are so much fun! You would be LEAPS and bounds better than the current Bachelor/Bachelorette trip planner!
-
LOL 2ta....when I was in my 20's I WAS a tour guide in Hawaii! Took the tourists all over, but I was the one talking at the front of the bus while the driver was the one who had to keep the bus in the right lanes. Flew with them to the other islands, then took them back to the mainland, as it was a charter tour company.
-
heeheehee I would play if only I could think of something witty to add ;^)
-
Curve, I think you picked the word up from the last page
. Happens to me, too.
It is fun telling true and made-up tales. Where shall we go next?
-
Well......hmmmmm.....how about those "Chippendale" dancers, or "Thunder from Down Under" shows in Vegas? Haven't been to one, but just looking at all those males with amazing bods sounds like fun!
-
zogo, you're right. I was miles behind everyone else! I thought I refreshed too, but must have missed that there was another whole page after where I was at.
-
No worries Curve; I get behind piles of paperwork on my desk all the time and miss a lot of stuff!
-
Wahine, I bet your desk pales in comparison to my backlog of paperwork...ugh...I should go tackle it instead of playing games on the computer
-
I'll bring over some poles and we can just vault over all that mess! But you know, its much more fun to play games on the computer than to tackle work stuff....
-
I can't keep up! Need to stay off the pain meds. I'll bet your mess PALES in comparison to mine! PS says no using my arms or showering till next appt next Thursday. Sheesh! Would prefer the dancing boys, BCO or computer games instead
-
@wahine, I used to say, "but if I goof off instead of work I will have no money to buy pretty things. No nice clothes, no jewelry with precious stones like opals in it, no cool shoes". But now I'm retired (woohoo!), so I can't say that any more. I never was much into clothes, shoes or jewelry anyhow, but I just had to say "opals" heheheheh
oops, 2TA beat me to it. Fortunately my word works anyway
-
Awwwwww Maddy, I remember not being able to shower, I think that was the worst part (well, other than the pain!)....hoping that at least you are getting some good sleep. (And we'll let it slip THIS TIME that you used the word right above mine! LOL!!! You have the excuse of pain meds....)
-
DOUBLE OOPS.... I was typing when you posted....so will go from your word of "opals".....
Sometimes after surgery they want you to elevate your upper body, like sleeping on a slope.
-
Oops, you're right, Wahine! Must have been the meds! The pain meds affect my brain, make me sleepy, but the pain keeps me from SLEEP. Pain in my chest, my sides, my back, need to try sleeping on my feet! Hate the no showering part.
-
@2TA, maybe if you try counting sheep it will help you doze off...wishing you lots of healing zzzzz's tonight.
-
Curveball, thanks, will try that. Have tried counting sheep but get them mixed up with the 2 cats who usually sleep at the foot of my bed on a SHEET. Counting my blessings before I fall asleep usually makes for sweet dreams. Just waiting for my pain meds to kick in to let me get comfortable to relax to catch some zzz's. Good night!
-
Hope you got to sleep 2ta! I take melatonin every night and if I tried counting sheep, would not get past number three!
