I have been taking Femara for almost a year now. But the side effects are getting really bad.  Any suggestions about what supplements and diet you are taking with Femara to ease the joint pains and nausea.

not a pill but as soon as I started the meds, I upped my exercise at the gym. I go to the gym 4 times a week now and part of my routine is stretching, usually about 20 minutes each time.  Along with weight training I do believe it is why I do not have any side effects

Thank you for the reply proudtospin. I am glad its working for you, but i simply dont have the strength to do it anymore. Are you taking natural fresh juices regularly with the aim to get off with nausea and lack of sleep? I have tried Apricot seeds last month to prevent recurrence as i heard it works but i cant take the bitter taste anymore.

    Hi Karenjames,

You may be interested in checking out the main Breastcancer.org site's page on Suggestions for Using Supplements for information on taking supplements while being treated for breast cancer.

    We hope this helps!

I use Omega 3 and Bosewellia along with some other supplements.  If you do a search on Femara and joint pain there are many posts with replies for your inquiry.  Also I recall mention of glucosamine supplement use too.  Daily Exercise is critical such as walking.

Have you tried changing the time of day you take it? And/or experimenting with taking with food vs. without food? Either of these things might help with the nausea. Exercise is the best thing I have found for the joint pain, just start slow with something you like. Maybe just even getting up and walking during commercials. Every little bit helps. Good luck finding a solution!

Karen, no I do not take any special juices.  I do not get nausea either.  I just try to eat healthy.  No packaged foods or such.  I do not buy organic but do eat fresh veggies and such.  I am not much on fruit juices as the calories and I try to do WW.

Guess maybe I am lucky there
