Completed tamoxifen, postmenopausal and overies woke up?

Options

Diagnosed with stage 2 bc October 2009. Did a dbl mastectomy, no treatment except tamoxifen. Was on tamoxifen for 3 years, tested and am postmenopausal and now periods have started back up. Only had 4 periods while on tamoxifen, now on anastrozole. Seen my gynecologist today, to have biopsy because of bleeding. He said my "overies woke up". I think I should have overies removed. Has anyone had anything like this. Help

Tamoxifen also increases the risk of uterine cancer, or so my oncologist said, so she told me that after one year on Tamoxifen she will do a pelvic ultrasound. You might ask about that.

Me and my ONC thought the chemo I had almost 4 years ago knocked out my periods.  My ONC switched me from tamoxifen to anastrozole because she thought I was now postmenopausal.  My breast cancer came back with mets to my spine.  So she took me off anastrozole because I was starting chemo again.  After 2 weeks off of anastrozole my period came back with a vengence.  Again I knew it was my period due to cramping, spotting, then heavy bleeding.  I couldn't believe it that after almost 4 years I had the "curse" again.  I have an apt with my gyno (at the request of my ONC) to be certain I don't have any problems down there.  After that I'm gonna demand something to suppress my periods.  I don't need to be anemic while going through chemo.
