Series of unfortunate events

Left mastectomy nipple sparing surgery on June 19. Told no cancer found in lymph nodes. Ps worried about tissue for reconstruction. First f/u visit to ps was good. He was pleased with healing and tissue surviving. June 25 was ps appt and on way home involved in car accident. Turning into own driveway and car behind us did not stop. I naturally freaked about my left breast. Went to er and diagnosed with left pneumothorax,! Spent 6 days in hospital with chest tube on left side. Breast surgeon visited in hospital to let pulmonary dr where they could make incision to insert chest tube ALSO to go over pathology results: cancer found in lymph nodes and tissue of nipple. Now looking at additional surgery and most likely chemo. I am really due for something good to happen. Trying to keep it together by handling one day, one dr appt at a time.
