is anyone suffering from shortness of breath since radiation

Options

I was dignosed with stage 3 bc in sept. 2012 My bc was 3cm and it took 2 lumpectomies to get a clear margin. No issues in my lymph nodes My oncologist recomended radiation and five years of tomoxifin followed by five years of something else. My concern is since I' ve had the radiation I have a real issue with getting a  deep breath out and at times its very scary. Is anyone else dealing with this........sandyesau@hotmail.com

I had radiation to the left side that ended in April, and yes, I had shortness of breath for awhile. That is better, although not gone now. I remember it happening ten years ago, also, when the radiation was on the right side. I felt really worried the first time, as it was pretty dramatic, and yet it did not seem important to any of the providers. Definitely bring that up to your oncologist or call the radiation doc. Good luck.
