Lyrica Withdrawl?

Just wondering if anyone here getting off of Lyrica?  I was taken off two days ago and put back on the gabapentin, but having heavy sweating and headaches. Just wondering if it could be withdrawl from the Lyrica even if I was on a small dose.. 50 mg 3x/day?

    The reason I was taken off was severe weight gain (20 lbs in one month), ankle swelling and major loss of short term memory.

    Decided to put what the doc said to me yesterday - He believes all my issues stem from getting off the tamoxifen and it throwing my hormones out of wack... Told me to come back in if I continue to have swelling in my legs and ankles. Doesn't believe the effects are from getting off the Lyrica.

    GMA my husband has been on lyrica for many years because of chronic pain. He did not like it and tried early on to get off it but the withdrawal was worse than the side effects. Withdrawal headaches were awful. Hopefully your headaches will not last too long. Wish you the best.

    Gma, did the dr. give you a protocol for stopping Lyrica?  You might reduce the dosage to two capsules per day for a week, then one capsule per day for a week, then one every other day.  Can you figure out a withdrawal schedule so that you withdraw over the course of a month?  This might help.

    Corky I got through the withdrawal ok. Wasn't on it that long and am on gabapentin. The doc i saw this week thinks it is actually caused by getting off of the tamoxifen 2 months ago.
