Baylor blood test detects colon cancer before it develops
A new blood test created at Baylor Research Institute detects colon cancer before it develops and could significantly reduce the need for colonoscopies, the study's lead author told me in an interview.

Yes - wouldn't be nice to avoid this procedure or have done less often with a blood test screening? Hoping you have a squeaky clean exam!

Thanks cp, I've put it off for 5 years due to fear, but after everything this year has brought, I figured time to do it-can't be any worse than what I've been through! Time or more water....

That would be great! I've had 2 colonoscopies (50 and 55) and dread it.
Good girl for doing the exam; it's annoying and the prep is icky, but worth it.

cool. this kind of blood tests would truly save money and lives down the road, may even help in treatment. Should be available for more cancers too.
