You mean Natrelle (Allergan) 410s.  Those are the anatomical. 

I am considering a revision to these and am dissappointed to read that 375ccs are 2 tiny A cups on you.  What band size bra do you wear? Is this A cup in a 32 or 34 or is it A cup in a 36 or 38?  I am sorry you are not pleased with the results, especially with limited options now available to you.

Ruth -- you need to look into assistance so you can get another opinion.  If you feel this way, the only thing to do is speak to another doctor.  I will say that the gummies are very firm.  And mine did not move much until 3 months post-surgery (MUCH more flexible now though they will never move like regular silicone, which is simply softer and less form-rigid).

I had a nipple sparing bilateral mastectomy this past December. I am now 2 weeks post exchange for allergan 410's 520 ccs. At first I wasn't sure if I liked them because I lost a lot of projection. The size of my implant is good but I wish there was more projection. The implant is actually pretty wide compared to the projection. I am getting used to them now, still a little bit swelling and such. I have not gotten sized but I think I am probably a C cup. They do look a lot more natural and look pretty good. My question is to the other women who have this implant to they drop & fluff at all or they pretty much stay the same look?

Hi ladies! So, I had my exchange surgey yesterday and chose the natrelle 410, 535cc... Did anyone else's look flat and a lot smaller than expected? I'm really disappointed with what I can see so far. I literally have no clevage and I was most excited about that :-(

Yeah I have natrelle 410, 520cc. My exchange was about 2/3 weeks ago, and I initially did not like them because I felt flat and not as much cleavage as I was thinking or hoping and also was dissapponted in the projection. They are looking better and I am getting used to them. In a sports bra I look kind of flat but in a bra they look pretty good. I think I initially was disappointed because I compared them to the usual implant fake look and also compared to the tissue expanders which are so out there and in your face lol. I keep hearing with time they will start looking better. I also am starting to like them a lot more, they are natural looking on my body. Today I went to Nordstrom to get sized (I was told they are specialized for mastectomy and implants) and I was actually sized a 32DD! So they are a good size, just not projected out and fake looking. Give it some time!

You have to give it alittle time..I have the Hp550 Oval Seintras and swapping for theAllergan 410 640 with a projection of 6.2 which I had 5.8 before ..they do take shape after a period of time..and my right is smaller than left because I had more work done on the right and rad..give it some time..

Hi Liz,

Your 410s should not have upper pole fullness at all. It may be due to the pocket being to small pushing the implant upward. With my 410s one side was much tighter and firmer with the upper pole definition. A very tight fake feeling breast, the other was a softer more natural feeling.

PS said he needed to revise, loosen pocket to allow it to sit lower.

If you need this done, they should then feel softer, as it won't be squashed in too tight a place.

I must say I was taken aback with the firm fixed immobile feeling of reconstructed breasts initially. Not much give. Hubby found the tight one fake and unnatural feeling.

Form stable implants (gummies) are supposed to be the most beneficial at maintain the shape, and are supposed to get softer over a year or so.

I found my 410s too wide and the projection didn't quite match the width. Flattish. I swapped for anatomical Mentor CPG, a rounder looking implant. Change over surgery was an easy recovery again, no drains.

The regular round silicone implants would be softer and more pliable if your 410s don't settle to you liking. Good Luck, I feel for you being single and facing such a change in body image.

I'm a week and a half out from exchange, with Allergan gummy 410's 655 cc's. I don't notice any strange heaviness & I am petite. If anything, the amount that I do feel makes them feel more real, because natural breasts are supposed to hang down a bit. Since they are anatomically shaped, it is true that you won't have excessive upper pole fullness like that of a round implant stuck up higher on your chest. But, I think with the right size/style and a PS who knows what they're doing placing them properly, you will still get a nice shape from top to bottom. I still have upper fullness and cleavage w/mine. I admit that a day after surgery, when I peaked, I thought they looked flat & weird, but I think this just happens in the beginning when your wrapped tight or something. They have definitely filled out since then & are developing a nice shape. They have also softened tremendously & I can squish them together, whereas right after surgery they were hard & imobile. My skin has been really itchy too so I know it must be stretching. I'm guessing that in a few months (which is how long my PS said to give it) they will only continue to feel more natural. I think it's a matter of personal preference. I wanted to be bigger, but naturally looking big & not fake boob looking big. I never liked the look of my TE's poking out too high from under my shirt, with the outline of my breast practically right under my collarbone. I certainly didn't want that look permanently in an implant either! Perhaps everyone's bodies take to the gummies differently, but the same holds true for the rounds. You just have to weigh the pros & cons of each and decide what you really want. With either one you're taking a chance on the final outcome.

Momto7 are you small stature and getting small implants?  I'm surprised to hear you won't have a TE -- that means you're having a one-step, which generally means a very small implant because it isn't the skin that is the issue -- it's the muscle.  The TE is placed to stretch the muscle under which the implant must go. This is true no matter what kindof implant you choose.

Mkildare I responded to your post on another thread... I agree one of the great things about the gummy is the nice slope in the upper pole.  I have no step off at all.  I think the shape adjusted somewhat over time in the first few months post-exchange but, really, my guess is that was mainly to do with a little post-surgical swelling (which is basically what I posted on the other thread).
