GOLDIE--still YAY--1 bean plant left--well don't count on tht. All these fires and yet we have alot of rain too. I guess u don't get the rain. And I am tired from the Lounge all the positions, I haven't been in in years Wow.
Becs u another one with fires all over the place WTF I guess it's this time of year--so everyone stay safe.
NM OK U got u'r car and took u'r meds I didn;t get up early enough to remind u, but u did it on u'r own.-U take care all of these people and u take care of u'rself last--u too Julie--u nurses.
Karen if u wrote and things did not work out, I think u do what comfortable for u--if it's going to bother u then u need to resolve it one way or another if (and to me it sounds like it bothers u) but if u can get past this just go on--like I said just cuz she 's a physc. doesn't mean she has the best responses in her own life--like (I forgot) who said it, but if u need a go-between use that, but if u'r not up for it then put it aside and take care of u'r life and mom.
Bernie write whenever u can --we understand--My DD has been on Depakote for a long time and so far OK but took so many yrs to get to the right on, plus others she's on too but that's the main one.
Lara I hope u'r feeling better today--I'm going to watch my scary movies, but I will have to be interruppted to go to PT--so it sucks--I hate all techs and Drs. now hahaha--I used to be so nice. Now I'm a bitch.
Kat u know prayers are being sent.--Keep us posted please.
Dork take care of u Mom and Dad, I know u do--this is difficult--but we're here too.
-
Cami, ya knows mese lubs ya, right? I foigot to menschun ya in mese post....mese mind usually comments on whoever commented right before mese...den mese foigets ta comment on ebberyone else. Hope your PT goes well today....thats never fun though. Thanks for the prayers!!!!
-
Oh Kat don't be silly, I'm just concerned about everything that's going on with u--it's not about me at all. (((HUGS)))
-

My DH's best friend died this morning, we just found out. They asked him to be a pallbearer on Sat. Please send prayers to Jesse's family. It was not totally unexpected as he was in ICU the past 3 or 4 days, but still sad, and my DH is feeling very sad right now, as they had been friends for prolly 40 yrs or so.
-
Happy Birthday to your baby girl Kat.
Nope, no beans at all now. They ate all my peanut butter out of the traps and only caught one! So frustrating!
-
-
so sorry kat and dh
-
happy birthday kristen
-
Kathy.....Happy Birthday to DD#1...so nice that your DD#2 and grands are driving to help celebrate
Sorry for your DH's loss....its always hard to loose a close friend....
Nice walk out this morning with one of my gf's...the air was okay which I didn't expect cuz last night due to all the wild fires all around the state, it was very smokey....it is so scarey with so many wild fires so early in the season....
Was thinking about what I need to do in the house (or want to do) and then all of a sudden remembered tha I have 2 appts...the first is in just over an hour then the other right after that......now what would have happened if I had forgotten!! ironic thing is that I have my stuff ready by the door, but then it slipped my mind (won't say momentarily as it was longer than that) but at least I remember in time.
Need to take care of a few things for mom...will stop by later with DD#2 before she leaves for the airport......flight is at 6 so will leave between 3:30 and 4....couldn't do on-line boarding pass for some stupid reason....its to Canada and eveyone once in a while, United won't let you do online boarding passes...the last time it happened, my DH got to the ticket counter 58 minutes before the flight and they denied him boarding and it was a whole big mess....the next flight was booked but finally they got him on a late day flight...thank goodness as the next day was a winter storm and flights were cancelled....SO don't want to take any chances....rather be there too early....
Wishing everyone a good day....bbl

Kat what sad news and u'r DH must feel horrible--Prayers going to their family.

-
Thanks Kathy on the gawgeous garden, it could be more gawgeous if the mice would leave my beans and cukes alone. I hope you and the girls and the kids have a good time tonight, and I am very sorry to hear about your DH’s friend, give him my condolences please.
LOL Julie, well didn’t get lucky either way!!! With the meeses or DH, but that usually is my fault and the lovely Arimidex. And looky what you found at the pooch park!
Cami, you saw the pictures, I still have my tomatoes, different variety of peppers, some basil, parsley, cilantro, zucchini, onions, squash and some melons, but those last two are going very very slow. I may try more beans, and keep them covered with something. So all in all, everything is doing pretty goot! What is PT for?
Karen, I hope you made your appointments and the airport a-ok.
Thank you Lara, and I’m glad you like your new foobs.

Gold U'r garden sounds alot like my oldest DD's garden she loves to grow alot especially herbs and stuff like that.Oh my PT is for my degenrated discs, vertabrae, scoliosis, and arthritis LOL I had to tell her anything that bothers me-u know all pysical stuff-hahaha by the time I got done we were both laughing cuz I told her about my neurapthy, my chronic D, my LE my bad shoulder, I always have a bladder infecion, kidney stones, whopping headaches, hernia etc so I pointed to my index finger and said look at this, this is the only thing that doesn't hurt right now--I tolder her when this is done I expect to be ready for the senior olympics (sp) in the winter, and she said I think u will have to have a walker-nope, no, no she said keep an open mind, and I said I won't remember next month I also have chemo brain so u'r talking is superfalous (sp) I'm not sure what that word means anymore. She asked if I ever fall and I said yes and she said then what happens? and I told her when everyone finishes laughing they help me up. Which is true. She thought I was kidding. NOT-I showed her the excercises I already do for my LE and she said to continue they were good and my legs too and they were good. So I should walk a few minutes at a time and see how much I can do, but ver slowly. Like i could go fastly as I told her. Now sorry u asked? So I just took my pain meds--I didn't for the day as I told her I wanted my naked pain to show.Everyone who was there while I was were in for accidents ---I talk alot and I thought there are alot of clumsy people here I never realized that before. So don't let gravity get the best of you. I still love seeing u'r name here. LOL

cammi if your on an ai or tamoxifen, its on the list of olympic banned substances, so you could win and then be stripped of your title for using a banned substance but at least you would make the news
.hope your pt will help you as much as mine helps me,are they going to do ultrasound or electrostimulation(of your back) get your mind out of the gutter people, its very relaxing.worked the gift shop and the cafe today but work is a relative term for what i'm doing! hope you girls all made your apointments, safe travels to karens daughter, kat enjoy the day with kristen, bernie -thinking of you.lara and lori.hope you have a good evening. nm,relax and hope you took your meds
-
does this hold an entiely different meaning for you too!
-
Julie--totally
-
Jules....we not in da gutter!!!!!
Cami Sue... You sound like me. Why we so busted up? I conveniently choose to ignore the degenerative disc disease (even with spine surgery). Or the hysterectomy due to endometriosis. It gets embarrassing. :-/
I am sooooo dang tired! Woke up late this ayem. Late to work. Then during exercise group, Chavez was missing so I went to check (to be helpful and go extra mile). Nurse was in there and said she is on hold all day. So....back to group. Told therapist Chavez on hold. 3/4 way thru, hispanic man shows up. Lo and behold...it's Chavez!!! Oh chit! Turns out Sanchez on hold. Picky, picky!!! Damn. I'm so ditzy. Fricken tamoxifen!!! Still being held hostage by Effexor too btw. Forgot who asked me that.
I better get to bed. Will catch up eventually.
Nite y'all. Ah...just thought of dory and John Boy. Lub lub !!!!!
Ok. -
good morning all
-
Oj Julie what a good morning that is--Wow I saw hime first.--What do u subscribe to Boys R Us--U sure find them.
NM take u'r meds--oops I forgot to take mine hahaha
I see it's still quiet and Becs u need a really good nite sleep so I hope u got it. Those meds are playing with u. I'm sorry.
OK I'll BBL
-
Good morning, Loungettes! TGIF! TGIF!! I so wanted to sleep in this ayem. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. Funny, I wake up around the same time as I get up during the week, but it feels so much more relaxed on the weekend. Not sure why that is. So nice having my car back, didn't realize how much I missed it!
Goldie--Yesterday was a better day after I got my car. Poor car needs a cleaning out, but I can handle that this weekend. I'm too cheap to buy the energy drinks 'cause I'm afraid I won't like the taste. Much rather spend my money on something I know I'll like!
Wahine--Happy Birthday to DD1! Enjoy the day, all of you! Still praying for you all. I didn't catch that show, and I will look for it. I didn't get the lupine planted yet, that is definitely a tomorrow job, as the poor babies are looking a bit unhappy. The back is still talking to me, but it's more like a mutter than a holler, so that's better. I can just picture you driving around in a big truck with stacks of fabrics and samples!
Cammy--I'm working on taking my meds so I can give you a good report, don't want you mad at me!
Juliet--I'll take some popcorn! Do I have to be watching a movie to have some?
Wahine--Oh, my, your poor DH. Saying more prayers.
Love a Man and his Dog!
Karen--Here's praying your DH2"s flight goes smoothly!
ORLA--Hooray for the foobs looking good! Finally you are getting some of the good you deserve!
Cammy--sounds like we both need to walk. I used to walk 3 miles at a time. Not quiet every day, but close. The office will be putting together a team for a 3 mile Alzhiemier's walk/fundraiser this fall (October, I think.) I'd like to be able to walk in that, so that will be my motivator to get off my EWWA and start walking. I'll probably have more energy, too. So how far can you get right now? Last time I tried I think I did a quarter mile, if that.
Becs--still being held hostage by the effexor, huh? Hand in there, girl!
Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the June Bug
3/4 oz Malibu® coconut rum
3/4 oz banana liqueur
1 oz sweet and sour mix
1 oz pineapple juice
Blend all ingredients and pour over ice.
-
Oh NM drink sounds Yummy.
Well I can get about 50 steps then I collapse---hahaha so they figure I'll be in a walker when I'm done anyway. LOL so I'll just do the best I can.
-
Cami, I bet you entertained everyone within ear/eye shot! I hope the PT helps. And lets hope that finger stays well! You keep trying to walk, even if it is only 50 steps. Try doing that a couple times a day. My mom only has her hall to walk down, maybe 20’, she already has a walker and wants a scooter. I said NO WAY, you need to walk what little bit you walk. Not fair that you always get Julie's hunks first, you need to learn to share lady!
Oh no, you can’t be on AI’s or Tammy and be in the Olympics? Now that’s just wrong! Hilarious cartoon Julie, but I don’t think the majority of us will ever have to worry about THAT problem.
Becks, Sanchez/Chavez…………easy mistake. Hope your day gets better.
NM, I can totally relate to getting up at the same time, but better on the weekends. We have been going to town very early on Friday morning, leaving here by 5:30 pm. So just for that one day, I have to get up and get moving, as opposed to having coffee with my girls and getting to work when I’m ready, usually by 7. DH has dentist appointment this morning, so not leaving until 6:30. The energy drinks have a funny taste to me, sort of like a club soda (I don’t know)
And that should be cop porn girls, not popcorn.
Oooooh that June Bug looks yummy.
Already have my shower and face on, just need to get dressed. Happy Friday!
-
Oh shit Goldie--u've taken u'r shower--not me--u'r face is on--mine is still in my maykeup case---u'r ready to go. I'm ready to go--pee that is. Good energy level--I'm just having my coffee, took my meds and did my upper excercises, Now I have to rest. hahahaha
But I will share Julie's man later today--oh u guys have enough men.
Everyone hace a good day. It's supposed to be hot and humid the this whole week so not alot of outside stuff for me
Lara scary movie day, probably this whole week-end.
-
Happy Friday.....DD got to Toronto just fine...she was happy to have the row by herself....meanwhile DD#2 was beside herself going to the airport because of traffic and missed the exit!!! but all ended well....now my 2 girls have 5 days together....DD#2 will go to work with big sister on Monday and Tuesday...the last 2 days of the school year....the 3 of them DD/SIL?DD#2 will spend Shabbat and the week-end together....
Time to get dressed (already showered), but not putting on my face!!! and go for a walk before it gets too hot.....not sure whats on the agenda today other than cleaning and cooking for Shabbat. Need to see what Mom needs/wants to do......
Have a great 1st day of summer!!!
-
good morning all, i still need to have my shower but not in work until 1200 and its only 1023 plenty of time! anybody else have had their hot flashes drop to 1 every couple of days and then come back meaner than ever, been waking me up the last 2 weeks, the first week attributed to lady days but now!took ambien last night so definitely slow today. becks i'm with you on the tamox memory- do you know strawberry syrup is not a good condiment for a hot dog
in my defence the curry ketchup bottle is red too! glad your dd2 got there safely karen. lori enjoy your trip to town. nm of course i get you popcorn, and as i'm in with the volenteers,it;ll be fresh. thanks for the june bug need it to get going the morning, shoulder stiff again.
