Fish Oil and VItamin E not the same!

I have been taking fish oil, omega 3, supplements for several years.  I only recently found out that they do not contain Vitamin E and that people taking only the omega 3 stuff will have lower levels of vitamin e for some reason.  I always thought the fish oil tablets/omega 3 supplements were related to Vitamin E.

They add vitamin E to some omega 3 supplemts to compensate for the apparent effect of omegas on vitamin E in the body.  I suppose now I have really low levels of vitamin E.

So from my understanding, make sure your fish oil omega 3 supplements have added Vitamin E unless you are taking vitamin E separately.

I used to take Vitamin E for about a year. After blood work done by the neurologist, I was told my Vit E levels were too high. I guess I can't take it anyway because of something else that is wrong with me, but I can't remember why. It is important to get blood levels checked. I don't even know what else is in my fish oil supplement. I will be looking.
