    I wonder how many of us were on statins, and for how long, when we were diagnosed with bc. I had been on Lipitor, then Simvastatin for about 8 years before dx.

    I was just put on Crestor two months ago through my internist but at the recommendation of onc at Lombardi Cancer Center mentioned in the article. I know this is not what you asked, but I thought it might be useful to also find out if others are being given the statins at this point.
