Benign Papilloma / New Mass

Hello Everyone.  I was told in January of this year that I had tumor in my right breast.  This news came after I told my primary doctor about how my right breast had been leaking clear fluid, and the terrible, sharp pains that consistently occurred.  He gave me an order for the mammogram, which I had not even three days later.  I had an ultrasound along with the mammogram because the radiologists was concerned by what he saw on the mammogram film.  My primary doctor called me into the office about a week later, and told me that it looks like cancer.  I was crushed, but calm.  I had a needle-guided ultrasound biopsy a couple of days later, and it confirmed that I had a benign papilloma.  I had it surgically removed on February 11, 2013.  All was well until a few weeks ago when I began have familiar pain on the other side of my right breast.  Another mammogram, and ultrasound today because my doctor and I felt another mass earlier this week.  I was told that all is well, and my breasts have several nodules in them.  Should I let it go?  When I felt this pain before, it was a tumor.

Hello Everyone.  Got a call from my gynecologist today concerning mammogram and ultrasound that I had the other day.  Radiologist says all is well, but my doctor still called.  I missed the call because I was with my seven-year-old daughter at school for her last day.  I was unable to reach her, and now I have to wait until Monday.  I do not understand why my doctor and I can feel the lump, but nothing else is currently set to take place regarding tests.  I would greatly appreciate any advice.  Thanks.

    Hi Proudtospin,

I am not a fan of waiting in this particular case, but I am ok.  I was able to go to a wedding today, which helped quite a bit.  Still having some intense pain at times, but my daugher, son, and husband consistently make me smile.  I will take your advice and enjoy some ice cream with my baby.  Thanks for the advice!
