    Dear God,

    Please be with Michelle as she faces so many medical tests and surgery.  Please help her family as they worry about her.  Please be with all her medical teams and technicians and help them to help her as she works to get through this.

    Dear Lord,

    As the fires are raging all around us, please be with those who have lost their homes tonight.  Please help them to remember You are with them even in the midst of these struggles they are going through.  Please help the fire-fighters and help keep them safe.  Please bring cooler weather and calm the winds that are fanning these flames and threatening more places.  Amen.
