Proteinuria

I just got my blood and urine test results.  Blood and high protein in urine.  I wasn't quick enough to think of the appropriate questions until after hanging up.  I am to do 3 more weekly urine samples.

My question is...could this be a sign of mets making their appearance?

    Don't know much about this personally, but I can tell you that my 88 year old mother had it one year ago after her physical, and she never has had cancer, nor did she develop it since that test.  I believe it indicates an infection in bladder or kidney.  Wishing you all the best.
